A Sistersville man announces he's running against 2nd District Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito in the race for a U.S. Senate Seat.

Retired U.S. Marine Captain Richard Lemasters is challenging Capito for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by retiring Senator Jay Rockefeller.

Lemasters says he's running to fill the need of West Vrginia voters who want true conservative representation in the U.S. Senate.

Lemasters served 22 years of active military service and is also retired with 19 years of service in West Virginia state government.
