The suspect in an attempted Marietta bank robbery is arrested in Illinois.
The Marietta Police Department says 49-year-old Ronald Corbin was arrested Wednesday by the Urbana, Illinois Police Department after an armed robbery at Urbana Bank.
Corbin is linked to robberies in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.
Marietta Police say Corbin is believed to be a suspect in the attempted armed robbery at Peoples Bank on Scammel Street in Marietta on August 26.
Corbin was out on bond from armed bank robberies in Lafayette, Illinois in October 2012.
The Marietta Police Department is working with the FBI and other law enforcement agencies.
The investigation is ongoing.
