Ten drivers are cited during a sobriety checkpoint in Wood County.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office says the checkpoint was held from 6-10 p.m. Wednesday on Rt. 68 north near Newbanks Road.
The following citations were issued:
Marie Hicks, 38, of Lodi, Ohio cited for no proof of insurance.
Isaiah M. Bana, 24, of Parkersburg cited for improper MVI.
Benjamin Neal Adkins, 27, of Parkersburg cited for expired MVI (April 2013) and no insurance.
Morgan J. Stuart, 20, of Williamstown cited for no operators license.
Kristi G. Johnson, 48, of Parkersburg cited for expired MVI (April 2011).
Krystal R Leslie, 28, of Parkersburg cited for no MVI and no insurance.
Rosie K. Waybright, 61, of Parkersburg cited for no seatbelt.
Deputies say they stopped three vehicles trying to avoid the checkpoint. Those citations are as follows:
Ashley Kay Kersey, 21, of Parkersburg cited for no insurance.
Thomas Gordon Stepp, 28, of Parkersburg cited for driving on a revoked license.
Dianna Lynn Ruddlesdon, 48, of Parkersburg was cited for driving on a license revoked for DUI.
