A Vienna man pleaded guilty to a federal firearms charge.

Last November Vienna police found two guns and $40,000 worth of heroin at his 29th Street home.

Wednesday 26-year-old Robert Porter pleaded guilty to having a gun connected to a drug arrest.

He faces up to 5 years in prison.

Sentencing is set for September.

Two men face drug charges in Vienna.

The Parkersburg Violent Crimes and Narcotics Task Force arrested Robert Bates-Porter and Trice Daniell after investigators say they found about $40,000 worth of heroin between the two.

The task force says they had been tracking Bates-Porter and Daniell for several months.

They both remain in jail.
