They've been able to give back more than a million dollars in support of student scholarships and the college mission.
Gary Williams, executive director for Foundation and Grant Development at Washington State Community College says although there's a lot more to be done, they want to thank everyone for their generosity as they kick off the "Thanks A Million" Fund Drive, with many options to contribute.
“It's very important because the time that we're living in right now I think students are finding themselves very financially strapped in terms of meeting the cost of college, just daily living costs,” he says.
According to Williams, many of the students aren't even out of high school.
The college wants to give people the chance to exercise their passion and let the public know where their money goes.
The Foundation can help make that happen.
