That brought West Virginia Attorney General Darrell McGraw to Parkersburg Thursday.

He says it's important to recognize the work of volunteers and the services they provide for the community.

McGraw presented members of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program with certificates to honor their dedication.

Attorney General McGraw is in the midst of a re-election year and says they hope to improve upon their service to the state with your help.

"To improve our procedures, to improve our approach to whatever and we're always open to suggestions on what people may have. And suggestions people may have we will consider as input. We recognize all the while that we work for the people of the state," says Attorney General McGraw.

Attorney General McGraw says his message to the Mid-Ohio Valley is to serve the public.
