W.V. Colleges Seek Students In China

CHARLESTON, W.V. (AP) - West Virginia college officials are heading to China to recruit new students and create study-abroad opportunities for their students.

The Charleston Daily Mail (http://bit.ly/nylYy6 ) reports that all the state's four-year colleges and universities are sending representatives to an international recruiting fair in China.

The 10-day trip also includes visits to five Chinese universities.

The representatives are scheduled to leave Wednesday.

The Higher Education Policy Commission gave each school a $2,500 grant to help pay for the trip.
