A Parkersburg Walmart employee is arrested for stealing pills.
It happened at the Walmart on South side.
During a routine pharmacy inventory, store management told police there was a pill shortage. A large amount of generic Xanax was missing.
After looking through surveillance footage, the staff noticed a janitor taking pills since December last year.
Police arrested William Thompson for felony embezzlement.
They say he voluntarily surrendered over two thousand pills.
He was arraigned and released on a ten thousand dollar bond.
