UPDATE: Water Back On in Marietta; Boil Advisory in Effect

Water is back on in Marietta but officials say a boil water advisory is in effect.

The water outage for Marietta is expanded to include the areas between Putnam to Montgomery Streets.

This included the Frontier Shopping Center and Ridgewood Apartments.

It's estimated 350 customers are now without water.

Crews are working on a water main problem.

There is no word on when services will be restored.

Following the outage there will be a boil advisory until further notice.

Due to water main problem water will be temporarily shut off for nearly 200 Marietta customers.

The City of Marietta's Water Treatment and Distribution Department says the repair will affect 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th Streets, as well as Warren Street and any adjacent streets.

There is no word on when services will be restored.

Following the outage there will be a boil advisory until further notice.

The City of Marietta's Water Treatment and Distribution Department orders a Water Boil Advisory for 200 people.

Due to water main problems, water will be off to repair the main, affecting 7th Street, 8th Street, Warden Street and any other adjacent side streets.

The advisory was received 7:45p.m.
