The Wood County Garage's nearly two dozen trucks passed the tests and the salt and sand bins for treating roads are full.
The DOH says during a winter storm priority goes to major highways, including interstates and routes connecting urban centers.
The Ohio Department of Transportation's Marietta District plans its equipment test next Friday.
