CHARLESTON, W.V. (AP) - An early winter storm could clip a dozen counties in West Virginia.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for higher elevations of Berkeley, Grant, Greenbrier, Hampshire, Hardy, Jefferson, Mineral, Morgan, Pocahontas, Preston, Randolph and Tucker counties. A coastal storm is expected to develop Friday night and move into New England on Saturday.
The weather service says accumulations of 6 or more inches are possible in elevations about 1,500 feet.
