Four Arrested for Drug Charges

Agents with the Washington County Major Crimes Task Force searched the Comfort Inn Hotel Wednesday and found two occupants allegedly in possession of drugs.

Agents arrested 31-year-old Justin Deems on a felony charge of possession of crack cocaine and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Eric Morris was also taken into custody for felony charge of possession of cocaine and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug abuse instruments.

Additionally, agents arrested 23-year-old Samantha Streight of Marietta on a felony charge of violating the terms of her probation. And 29 year-old Larry G. Thompson also of Marietta, on a misdemeanor warrant out of municipal court.

Thompson remains incarcerated in lieu of $2,500 bond and Streight is jailed on a holder requested by her probation officer.
