Squeals of laughter mark the beginning of the hunt with kids scattering the grounds searching for those hidden treasures.
With an event so big it comes as a surprise the director is so young. 17-year-old Alex Lowe started the Belpre Easter Egg Hunt 3 years ago.
She saw a need in her community and works hard every year to provide this hunt for the kids.
Local businesses, churches, and community members donate money to help fill the more than 10,000 eggs used in the hunt.
For her it's all about the feeling of helping others.
"I love the outcome that I get from it and I mean it's so amazing to hear people say this is amazing. I don't know if I could've done something like that. Or you know I have people come up and say I couldn't have done this for my kids. I couldn't have had an Easter for my kids and you know this is something they can give them that they couldn't have," says Founder and Director Alex Lowe.
After all the eggs and candy are scooped up kids also get the chance to meet the Easter bunny.
