Send Mason County Crash Shuts Down Route 35

A fatal crash shuts down a busy Mason County thoroughfare.

According to the West Virginia State Police a southbound Dodge Ram driven by William Fontaine of Columbus crossed the center line and drove directly into the path two tractor trailers.

Fontaine's Ram only hit the tires of the first trailer but hit the second trailer head on.

Both trailer drivers survived the accident without injures .

Fontaine died as a result of his injuries.
