I don't think shame has anything to do with it, I think it's a lack of matter between the ears, or just plain ego and greed.

I guess I shouldn't be, but I'm amazed that he would even CONSIDER taking a job with a group - any group - that lobbies the Legislature. Talk about conflicts of interest, this is it! Some people really do have no shame! Is it any wonder our political system is in such a mess???
