Titanic - Local Man's 100-Year-Old Newspaper

Sunday marks the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic.

" My birthday also falls on the 14th," says Michael Lee Gray of Parkersburg. "It's fascinating to learn about...a lot of people died...it's American history, really."

And more than a decade ago...right around the time of the blockbuster movie, Lee Gray was given a copy of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch which came out the day after the tragedy.

He still has the newspaper.

"I'd like to sell it or donate it, eventually...I don't want anything to happen to it...it's been around for 100 years, it should stay around for a little bit longer."

Gray is a fan of "Titanic" history...and can't remember the number of times he's seen the movie.

But he's also fascinated by the non-titanic parts of the newspaper...including what everything cost at that time.
