WVDOH Announces Road Delays

Road Closures and Delays

The West Virginia Division of Highways expects substantial delays on West Virginia 14 South.

The delays will start around 6 pm Monday about one-tenth of a mile from the 1-77 junction.

Crews are working on a major tie-in between the existing West Virginia 14 and the south connector of the bridge.

They encourage all drivers to avoid the area until as late as Wednesday evening.

More traffic delays are expected through the east street viaduct. Lane closures and possible delays on Monday and Tuesday due to bridge washing.

Flagging personnel will work from 9 am to 3 pm to maintain traffic flow.

They ask motorists to use caution.

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances may change the bridge washing schedule.
