WTAP Sports Wins West Virginia AP Award

This weekend, WTAP Sports goes in for the win at the West Virginia Associated Press Broadcast Awards.

WTAP Sports won first place in the "Best Sports Special" category for the fall "Countdown to Kick-Off" special.

The show features a half hour long special before the big Parkersburg vs. Parkersburg South High School football game.

Jim Wharton and Rich Donnelly anchored the show live from the Erickson All Sports Facility.
