66th Victory Awards Dinner

The 66th annual Victory Awards Dinner was held in Parkersburg on Sunday. The best athletes and coaches from around the state were honored for their achievements over the past year.

Former Parkersburg Catholic basketball player Mary Ostrowski was inducted into the West Virginia Sports Writers Hall of Fame. The Female Basketball Player of the Year Award will also be named in her honor.

Of the many other awards given out, Parkersburg South Wrestling coach Paul Jackson was named the High School Coach of the Year. Jackson led the Patriots to their 4th straight state championship and won 9 in his career at South.
