Just last week we featured her on our Mid-Ohio Valley's Most Wanted segment and after seeing herself on WTAP, Heddi Holbert turned herself in to authorities.
Police say in August of last year, Holbert went to the One Community Federal Credit Union on Fifth street and cashed two separate false checks that totaled almost $2,000.
Early Saturday morning, Holbert called Parkersburg Police and told them she saw herself on WTAP and wanted to turn herself in.
Police arrested Holbert at 7th and Lynn Streets in Parkersburg.
She bonded out of jail and faces two felony counts of Uttering.
In this week's edition of the Mid-Ohio Valley's Most Wanted we have for you Heddi Holbert, accused of Uttering.
Police say in August of last year, Holbert went to the One Community Federal Credit Union on Fifth Street, walked up to the drive thru and presented a false check of just over $900.
The clerk then cashed the check.
Authorities say just a few minutes later, Holbert went inside the bank and presented another false check for $700.
The clerk cashed that check as well.
Holbert is wanted on two felony counts of uttering for the incident and faces one to ten years behind bars.
"She's also facing some Petit Larceny charges, which she failed to appear on, so there's two warrants out for her for failure to appear. So, it's not just one crime, it's multiple crimes, so it's obvious that she's capable of committing more," says Chief Gerald Board, Parkersburg Police Department.
Chief Board believes Holbert is still in the area and may have family or a residence in Mineral Wells.
Holbert has blonde hair, green eyes, she is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 100 lbs.
If you see her, make sure you call the Parkersburg Police Department at 304-424-8444
