In this week's edition of the Mid-Ohio Valley's Most Wanted we have for you a Parkersburg man wanted for Petit Larceny.
Police say he stole money from a donation jar collecting funds for the family of victims of a house fire.
Parkersburg Police Captain Delmas Barker says on October 29 Jesse James Day walked in to the Kompac convenience store on Camden Avenue and stole money from a donation jar on the counter.
He says that jar was set up for 21-year-old Amanda McClain, her son, 11-month-old Conner Joy and 26-year-old Jesse Hayes, who all died of smoke inhalation at a home on Camden avenue, in early October.
Amanda's mother put the jar out, hoping to raise money for funeral costs.
Captain Barker isn't sure how much money day stole out of the jar.
He says employees were able to identify day because he's a frequent customer.
Captain Barker believes day is still in the Parkersburg area.
So, if you have any information on where Jesse James Day could be please call the Parkersburg Police Department at 304-424-8444.
