Washington-Morgan Community Action will be accepting applications for the Secret Santa Program from October 15 through November 9. The Secret Santa Program provides Christmas gifts to children of disadvantaged families of Washington County. The Secret Santa Program serves ages newborn to age 12.
Washington-Morgan Community Action is located at 218 Putnam Street and is open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. Applicants must provide proof of income for the last 30 days, proof of Washington County residency, photo ID, birth certificates for all children and Social Security numbers for children and parents in the household. Income eligibility is based on 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Participants cannot be part of other gift giving programs.
The Secret Santa Program is also looking for sponsors and donors to help bring a little Christmas cheer to underprivileged families of Washington County. The program needs sponsors, or unspecified new unwrapped toys or cash donations.
