Houses and businesses weren't the only things overtaken by the flood waters, so were children's playgrounds. How do you keep your child safe from post-flood bacteria?
The Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department says first hose off the playground, then scrub it with bleach and water.
It's also a good idea to wait at least two days for the soil to dry around it. Also, to help prevent infection, make sure your child has had their tetanus shot and washes their hands frequently.
