A judge has agreed to postpone Eugene Robert Anderson's October child pornography trial until this winter.
Anderson, a former Marietta College professor, was convicted in August in Washington County of more than 100 child pornography and prostitution counts.
But Anderson's attorney, in seeking a continuance, says pre-trial publicity would make it difficult to find an impartial jury for a Wood County trial.
The charges in both Ohio and West Virginia involve images found on Anderson's home and office computers.
Anderson is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 24 on his Washington County conviction.
