It's been closed for months, but demolition of a Parkersburg restaurant got underway Wednesday.
The building which housed the Western Sizzlin' restaurant closed in April after serving millions of steak dinners from the time it opened in the 1970s.
It's being torn down to make way for a connector road from Emerson Avenue to the Memorial Toll Bridge.
When the road is completed, it will mean the end of the traffic circle, which has been part of the city of Parkersburg since the 1950s.
