An area father out on bond for allegedly kicking his 12-year-old son, and grabbing another juvenile by the throat is behind bars again.
Thirty-four-year old Edward John Layton Jr. was arrested for a bond violation on domestic violence charges.
He was arrested at his home, which a judge had ordered him to stay away from.
Layton was charged after a sheriff's investigation in which he allegedly kicked his son, and grabbed another teen by the throat.
Layton was originally arrested Monday, then released on bond. He is currently being held in the regional jail.
