Apparently, someone is claiming to sell different size garbage bags on behalf of the Wood County Senior Citizens Center.
The center says it is not running any such program.
So far, two people have notified the center saying they received a call about the bags.
When the people begin asking questions of the caller, the caller usually hangs up.
Administrative Assistant Sharon Watkins says the Senior Citizens Center does not use telemarketing in its fundraisers.
Residents are advised not to let this person into their homes. Anyone who is contacted should call the Wood County Sheriff's Office at (304) 424-1812.
