The workforce investment board of West Virginia Thursday brought fifty area businesses together for a career fair.
With the economy still moving slowly, gatherings like these attract a lot of job seekers.
We have been very hard hit with dislocations with Ames, York and Manville. So it's very needed, and, I think, very beneficial to the people who come,” says program specialist Gina Huffman.
The job fair can also help employment providers find someone with the right skills to help their businesses stay competitive in the marketplace.
