The Marietta Family YMCA held an event Sunday afternoon that had people getting their taste buds on.
It was all part of their 14th annual Chili, Soup and Dessert Cook Off at Washington State Community College.
People got to try over 22 different kinds of chili made by local restaurants and individuals.
They also got to taste several soups and desserts.
It's a fundraiser that will help benefit the Youth Group at the Y.
"I think it's just an opportunity for the community to come together for the event this afternoon and enjoy it. It's been a lot of fun for the staff the last few weeks to put it all together and to just do a lot of taste testing during the week," says Marietta Family YMCA Executive Director, Suzy Zumalde.
A silent auction also took place at the chili cook off.
Last year, the Marietta Family YMCA raised $5,000.
They hope to make more than that amount this year.
