Slippage has been an ongoing problem on State Route 7, but Tuesday evening, a meeting was held to discuss a plan of attack.
The Ohio Department of Transportation discussed the next phase of the slip repair.
All things involving construction were discussed, everything from blasting schedules to traffic delays, and it seems the meeting was a success with concerned residents.
Marietta resident Barb Palmer is more relaxed about her situation.
"Now, I'm not as concerned over the blasting as I was and we'll have a view when we're done."
ODOT officials say construction will begin Monday, May 23. They hope to have traffic going in both southbound lanes by the middle of November 2005.
