Vienna city council passed a number of resolutions unanimously Thursday night, but their primary is still going forward... just without city races on the ballot.
Due to a low number of candidates running for city offices, there is hardly ever a primary held for those races.
Mayor David Nohe says it is a routine action to vote not to hold a primary for the city.
The mayor stresses that the primary vote WILL be held in the city, but it is not necessary for their races.
In other action, council approved placing the Mid-Ohio Valley Transit Authority levy upon the ballot.
