Bond hearings were held for 41-year-old Norman Dunn of New Matamoras, 30-year-old Steven Douglas Smith of Marietta, and 46-year-old Brian Caskey of Marion County, Ohio.
Chief Deputy Larry Mincks says it's a significant start toward breaking up the drug ring.
It involved a series of wiretaps, beginning in the summer of 2000.
Deputy Mincks says investigators also analyzed financial records of the individuals.
Dunn is charged with 15 counts, including trafficking in marijuana, and complicity in trafficking in cocaine.
All three men are charged with engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity.
