Near Record Warmth in Region

The record high temperature of 74 degrees for Monday was tied at the Port Columbus International Airport at 2:29 p.m. The previous record had been set in 1889.

At 2:06 p.m., the temperature at Mansfield Lahm Munipal Airport reached 70 degrees. This breaks the old record high of 66 set back in 1989.

At 2:52 p.m., the temperature at Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport reached 71 degrees. This breaks the old record high of 69 set in 1945.

The record high at the Wood County Airport for Monday stands at 76 degrees, set back in 1989. Monday's observed high was close at 74, but began falling as cloud cover moved in late in the afternoon.
