A Spooky Classroom

If you walk into an elementary school right now you'd probably see some Halloween decorations.

But one local classroom could be mistaken for a haunted house.

As soon as you walk in the door of Ted Thompson's second grade class at St. Marys Elementary, you see just about every inch covered in spooky decorations.

Many of these items are interactive, keeping the kids busy when they're not doing school work.

Thompson has been doing this haunted classroom for about 30 years, and said he made many of the decorations himself.

"I'm an artist by nature, and I love to inspire the children and make the room more enthusiastic for them," Thompson said.

I'm not against kids having fun, I am saying that it is ok for the schools to decorated and do this stuff for halloween but the schools don't allow the kids to call a christmas party a christmas party. They are told it is a holiday celebration. That is not fair to kids.

Mr. Thompson's spooky classroom is something I always looked forward to as a parent when my kids were small. He is a fantastic teacher and always goes the extra mile for his class. Thanks for the many memories Ted. Keep up the good work!

Ken, let the kids have their fun while they can. Everyone does not have to grow up to be a boring adult.

Let's see here, it is perfectly fine for a school room to be done up as a haunted house at halloween time which is referred to as a time for devil worshiping? It is no wonder our youth are messed up and so fansinated with gore.
