Charleston, W.Va. (AP) -- A video allegedly showing problems with West Virginia's touch-screen voting machines has become an internet hit.

The video shows Jackson County Clerk Jeff Waybright demonstrating how the machines can switch votes from one candidate to another when not calibrated properly.

But the problem appears to persist even after Waybright calibrates the machine.

State election officials say the video is misleading, and they plan to complain to the U.S. Justice Department.

They say Waybright made a mistake during the demonstration. But the group that made it, video the vote, says it underscores how these machines can confuse voters.

The video has received 375,600 hits on Youtube. The group has also posted its full interview with Waybright.
