Vienna Circuit City Not Among Stores Closing

Circuit City has announced that it is closing one-fifth of its stores by the end of the year.

The nation's second-largest consumer electronics retailer plans to close 155 of its more than 700 stores by December 31.

Thousands of employees will be laid off in 12 markets.

The Vienna store is not on the list for the closures.

Circuit city had only one profitable quarter in the past year, and was hit by a one-two punch of a weaker retail environment and stronger competition.

They should bring in some employees from the other stores to work here. The Vienna store is the worst in service and knowledge.
