UPDATE: Ritchie County Roads for Emergencies Only

According to the Ritchie County Emergency Services, roads are improving, but motorists should still be take caution when driving.


The Ritchie County Emergency Services Director is asking drivers to stay off Ritchie County roads unless it is an emergency. This will allow crews to safely treat the roads. For more information on WV Roads, call 1-877-WVA-ROAD. For OH Roads, call 1-888-2-OH-ROAD. Tune into WTAP News at 11 for more information.

    Ritchie County is nothing compared to Parkersburg, i slid into a ditch yesterday behind the Grand Central Mall. The roads there were terrible

    That is a really good thing to do because I recked toaday there at 1:00or 2:00.
