Washington County Prosecutors are announcing that they are not proceeding with the felony charges at this time against Ali Houssaiky and Osama Abulhassan.
The men were both charged with money laundering to aid terrorism,
and providing support for an act of terrorism.
This came after the two allegedly bought several disposable pre-paid cell phones. Police say can be used to detonate road-side bombs.
Police say they also had several thousands of dollars in cash, and airplane manifests.
Prosecutors are saying there is enough evidence in support of probable cause, but not enough to prove charges beyond a reasonable doubt.
The Sheriff's Department is working with federal and other state officials, regarding the investigation. A decision will be made later on as to whether or not to take the case to the grand jury.
The two are still being charged with a misdemeanor count of lying to police.
Abulhassan and Houssaiky will have another bond hearing Tuesday afternoon, when the bond will probably be lowered in account of the misdemeanor charge.
