A Mineral Wells home is completely destroyed after a morning fire. Crews were battling hot spots for more than 4 hours this morning. The Wood County Fire Investigation Team is on the scene to try and determine a cause.

Crews are still battling hot spots at the scene of a house fire on Butcher Bend Road in Mineral Wells. Fire crews say the home is still smoldering but the fire is under control.

The Wood County Fire Investigation Team has been called to the scene.

Crews are at the scene of a house fire on Butcher Bend Road in Mineral Wells.

The fire broke out around six o'clock Wednesday morning.

9-1-1 Dispatchers tell WTAP when crews arrived at the scene, the house was completely engulfed in flames.

Two people who were reportedly inside the home when the fire started, got out safely.

Our reporter at the scene tells us the home is badly damaged.
