More jobs are being lost in the Mid-Ohio Valley, and another two dozen people will soon be without work.

The Marietta site of Thermo Fisher Scientific announced it will be reducing it's workforce by 24 employees.

In a statement sent to WTAP, spokesperson Vaughn Harring said, "Business decisions that result in the loss of jobs are always difficult. However, these actions are designed to strengthen our global competitive position and provide continued growth opportunities for our 34,000 employees in the long term."

Would this happen to be a late report on recent activity or reporting on another 24 being laid off next week or soon?
