Cincinnati (AP) -- A November trial has been scheduled for a registered sex offender charged in the strangulation death of a Cincinnati teenager last month.

40 old Anthony Kirkland has pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder in the death of 13-year-old Esme Kenney.

Police say they found him March 8 near the girl's partly burned body in woods near her home.

Trial was set for Nov. 2 when Kirkland appeared Wednesday in Hamilton County common pleas court.

A judge ordered him held on $5.3 million bond.

Kirkland also is charged in the 2006 deaths of a woman and a teenager.

Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.

3 deaths what more could you seek. the death penalty is the easy way out for him, sometimes its better to let them live day by day and let them think. then again they surely have no mind to think with after doing all this. What is right.
