Columbus, Ohio (AP) -- A lawmaker has filed a lawsuit to force Gov. Ted Strickland to reveal more details of his plan for funding Ohio schools.

Rep. Seth Morgan, a republican from suburban Dayton, sued in the Ohio Supreme Court Monday to require the Governor to comply with the state's open records law.

Morgan sits on the committee reviewing the schools plan and previously requested information from Strickland about the way he came up with his education proposal.

Morgan says republicans are frustrated with what he calls the lack of transparency by the Strickland administration when it comes to its school plan.

Strickland spokeswoman Amanda Wurst called Morgan's request vague and overly broad, saying it could take months to compile the information.
