Columbus, Ohio (AP) -- A report has found a consensus among academics, election officials and lawmakers on a number of broad changes that are needed in Ohio's election laws.

The report released today by the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University's Law School said there is widespread agreement that counties need more than one early voting site.

Officials also largely agree that voter identification laws need to be simplified.

However, the details of the solutions are likely to inspire partisan disagreements as lawmakers work to make the changes in election law.

Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner asked for the report summarizing the findings of participants at two conferences following the November election.
