Homecoming Under Way

The wait for good viewing position for the main stage entertainment is becoming as much a homecoming tradition as anything, and if the recent trend of humid, sultry weather keeps up through the weekend, you can bet vendors of liquid refreshment will have a banner homecoming.

“I think it'll pick up really good, and the weekend will turn out really well,” says Ginger Gould.

As humid as it has been here, people agree they would rather be here than somewhere affected by the major power blackout; in other words, somewhere without air conditioning.

“That would be terrible to be in one of those cities that didn't have power right now,” says Cathy Mahoney.

These folks may need a lot of liquid relief, either from the vendors or the skies, to make it through the weekend.
