Weirton, WV (AP) -- A body found in the Ohio River has been identified as that of a deckhand who fell from a coal barge two weeks ago.

The Hancock County Sheriff's Department on Wednesday identified the body as that of 26-year-old Michael Harvey of Pittsburgh.

Harvey fell into the river April 6 as the barge unloaded coal at the W.H. Sammis Power Plant in Stratton, Ohio.

His life jacket was found near the scene later.

According to an obituary published in Pittsburgh-area newspapers, a funeral service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday at Monroeville United Methodist Church in Monroeville, PA.
