Milton, WV (AP) -- A 62-year-old man whose body was found stuffed in a garbage can along Interstate 64 near Milton is from North Carolina.
The Cabell County Sheriff's Department identified the man Wednesday as Andrew Raymond Mulvany of Carteret County.
A pacemaker helped authorities identify Mulvany, but his name was withheld pending notification of family.
A state Division of Highways worker discovered the industrial-sized garbage can Monday at the edge of brush, about 10 feet to 15 feet from the interstate.
It was sealed with duct tape and there was blood on it.
Police also aren't releasing the cause of death, although the sheriff's department said it's a homicide.
