Wood County's commissioners are still going over the fine points of the agreement to purchase a large portion of the Towne Square development.
The final signing of the document is tentatively scheduled for Thursday morning.
The sale of the portion housing the office complex was agreed to last month, but since then, the commissioners have been discussing the pact with prosecutor Ginny Conley.
“We would rather be slow and cautious and be correct, than to rush in. It's been about four weeks now, and, in the end, I think we'll have a better document to work from,” explains Commission President Rick Modesitt.
Two of the three commissioners have supported using Towne Square to create additional space for county offices.
