Well there is one more really nice place gone from this area. I really dislike the mall area so that is going to make my choices even smaller. I eat out twice a week for lunch and one of those days my office buddy and I go there. Easy to get into from my area and the staff is always very nice and friendly. Hate to see it happen.

You are driving down (or up) I 77, you see a sign, next exit, Bob Evans, you get off the interstate and get lost because it's so darn confusing to GET there from the interstate unless you already know how to get there.

Of all of the Bob Evans restaurants in town, this was the one that we liked the best. Sure, the prices had gone up some, but most of the people were friendly. Sure hate to see another business lost.

Consumer , you need to realize that the owner changed about three years ago and turned the place around. They were making a profit until THIS YEAR'S RECESSION CUT PROFITS ENOUGH THAT CORPORATE PULLED THE PLUG. It wasn't just Corridor D's interchange that did them in. But it sure didn't help...

Location, location, location. Once the Rt.50 mess was finalized, it meant the death for any business that didn't have a hardcore constituency, like Mountaineer Restaurant. Who wants to pull off the main road to get there? Apparently, very few people. Bob Evans was doomed by the changes in traffic.

After a recent visit to Bob Evans, I can understand why they are having to close their doors. The service was horrible, the pricing now is in line with 2 for 20 at Applebees and quite frankly if I am going to pay ten dollars for a meal I will go to a better restaurant with friendlier staff. Companies you are allowing yourself to be put out of business by high prices and poor service. Wake up!!! If we can't afford to go out we will eat at home.
