Clarksburg, WV. (AP) -- Motorists traveling U.S. 50 in Clarksburg won't be left in the dark much longer.
The West Virginia Division of Highways plans to correct problems that caused 141 street lights to stop working.
DOH District 4 Manager Greg Phillips says the agency will replace a transformer that's more than 30 years old.
He also says vehicle accidents have caused water to get into the power system.
Phillips says all the lights should be working again within the next six to eight months. No traffic delays are expected during the project.
