After hours of testimony and deliberation a jury found 19-year-old Marcus Houston of Charleston guilty of the two-count indictment. Authorities say Houston lured a female student into his Russell Hall dorm room on Feb. 14, Valentine's Day, then raped her.
Houston testified the sex was consensual.
While the victim took the stand saying she was clearly raped and that Marcus Houston was drunk at the time of the assault.
Houston faces up to 18 years in prison and a $35,000 fine.
